Wells

This is the place that Bishop Jocelyn drove off a dragon which had been terrorising the neighbourhood.

There is a carving above 'the heavenly stair' depicting what appears to be a peasant thrusting a staff into the mouth of a dragon, which could be a representation of the incident.
