Lagarfljótsormurinn

Lagarfljótsormurinn (the drake of Lagarfljót) is a lake monster living in Iceland similar to the monster of Loch Ness.

Lögurinn also called Lagarfljót is a lake that is 2 km wide and 24 km long. Located 20 m above sea level, the maximum depth was measured to 111 m. It is mainly supplied by the glacial river Jökulsá í Fljótsdal.
